About Me
I'm Carleton, a director and editor proudly hailing from Belfast where my passion for storytelling drives my work.
My 2021 short, 'Transmission,' world-premiered at the Academy Award® and BAFTA-qualifying L.A Shorts International Film Festival and went on to win multiple awards. It was picked up for distribution and premiered exclusively via the DUST Sci-Fi Network and has accumulated over a quarter of a million views online to date.
My follow-up short, 'I’ll Be Frank,' world-premiered at the BAFTA-qualifying Aesthetica Film Festival and later held its USA premieres at the Academy Award® qualifying Cinequest and the Chicago International Children's Film Festivals and won multiple awards.

Production & Post-Production Leadership
Beyond my work as a film director I act as CEO of the production company Apex Pictures where I oversee daily operations.
I also serve as Head of Post-Production at Richter Sports. At Richter, I lead and mentor the edit team, ensuring we deliver world-class content for global clients. This has included supervising complex post-production workflows for major global events, such as the fight build-up to the Usyk vs Joshua II World Title Fight and the ESPN documentary “Road to Riyadh” for the Fury vs Ngannou boxing clash.
I operate as the broadcast and online supervising editor for all of Richter Sports' PFL Europe content. This requires seamless coordination with geographically dispersed production teams via global broadcast partners, DAZN and EPSN.
